Growing up as a child my grandfather, Andy Edwards, would spend time with me explaining the the way electricity worked. He worked with RCA for over 20 years and after his first retirement he ran a successful TV and electronic repair business before retiring once again. This was many years ago, but he instilled a love of electronics and a need for understanding the way things worked in me. For many years I worked in the IT field, mostly in aerospace but decided to make a change in 2018 and that was when IronStone was formed. IronStone was developed to fill the need in my small community and provide a way for me to work in a field I enjoy. 

My grandfather also taught me the value of hard work and to be thankful to those around us that help us to be our best selves. One of his favorite verses from the Bible was Proverbs 27:17 - As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. I am thankful for him and all my family. 

As a tribute to my grandfather I merged his middle name, Andy Stone and his favorite Bible verse to remind me to be thankful everyday...and IronStone was born.
